Water technology is our passion. We are passionate about helping you solve issues related to piping systems, irrigation, water recreation, water purification and geothermal power. We supply the products and systems - but that’s not all we have to contribute to the solution. Our history

We were founded by Michael Blessing in Otterup on Funen in 2005 under the name Trade Nordic ApS. In 2008, the company moved to Cikorievej 60 in south-east Odense. Due to solid growth, the company moved again in 2010. This time to Egestubben in Odense N.

Acquired by Mega Group Trade Holding B.V.

In 2011, Trade Nordic ApS was acquired by Dutch MegaGroup Trade Holding B.V., and at the same time the company changed its name to Bevo Nordic A/S. A combination of the name of Mega Group's German division Bevo, which was already a well-known name in Scandinavia, and our own old name. In everyday speech, we are now simply called Bevo!

The mission of both Bevo and MegaGroup is to make water solutions accessible to improve people’s lives and so that we can help our customers, our staff and our partners with their sustainable growth. During the 80 years since we were founded, we have extended our expertise to cover the sectors irrigation, livestock, swimming pools, aquaculture and geothermal power, and we are now the market leader in water technology. The foundations for this growth were laid in Alkmaar, the Netherlands, in 1943.

Bevo and MegaGroup want to help solve the water-related challenges we face globally, in the broadest sense of the word. Our goal is to be the leading partner in water technology, which is why we focus on innovative development; we do this in our service centre by sharing knowledge and listening to you.

Innovative and environmentally friendly

We're always looking for improvements that can make your water management even more efficient, so you can save even more water. This means you can use low-energy and cost-saving technology more and more often. We are currently trialling Root Sense, an intelligent irrigation tool that measures the absorbency of crop roots so that the amount of water the nursery uses for irrigation can be adjusted to match, saving water and reducing costs. This vision of the future requires innovative ideas for more efficient systems, and here at our service centre, we're looking for more sustainable solutions. That's why we have always been, and always will be, pioneers in the water industry.

Bevo and MegaGroup

With more and more branches in different countries, there was a need to centralise certain business processes. Therefore, these processes were transferred to MegaGroup in 1989. Our holding company now handles purchasing, product data, e-commerce and marketing, among other things.

This gives us the freedom to do what we do best: helping you, our customer, with your challenging water projects. In fact, over our 75 years, we have helped thousands of customers with their water projects.

European distribution centre

Our first distribution centre was opened in Veghel, the Netherlands, in 2013 and the first shipment left the doors in November that year. Ever since, it has served as our main hub, housing all 20,000 products in our range.

In 2023, we opened our second distribution centre in Poznan, Poland. The new warehouse is over 22,000 square metres, which corresponds to over 8,000 pallet spaces and 13,000 shelf spaces, as well as 17 loading bays. Naturally, the warehouse is built in the most environmentally friendly and sustainable way possible.
